Finsa Home have donated 200sqm of laminate flooring to Project Peru!

Project Peru is a UK based charity offering food, clothing, shelter, education, health and fun to the children who live in their refuge in the desert shanty towns of Lima.

The donation has been used to spruce up the dormitory floors which were previously bare concrete.

Refuge Director Karina has said‘Thank you very much for all your support.’

Carole Hudson, Charity Director, has also thanked Finsahome for the donation and for the logistical support in getting the laminate flooring available to them.

Finsahome financed the flooring and were assisted by their FINfloor stockist, Decorlux, in Lima, who supplied the laminate flooring.

Finsahome recognise and appreciate all the hard work done by staff and volunteers of the project to ensure that all the children in need are well looked after.

Every year the UK based charity sends a cargo ship over to Peru with donations and supplies for the childrens refuge.

Amongst the cargo this time was a special delivery from Ormskirk School, Liverpool! Hand decorated boxes arrived including books, toys, games, stationary and much more. Ormskirk Delivery

The school has been engaged in fundraising for the Project over the past year and have raised nearly £5,000 so far!

A group of students will be staying at the refuge as part of a school trip in March 2015!
